Innovation 科技急先鋒

Get ready to view your favorite channel. National Geographic Channel (NGC) brings you dramatic stories about cutting-edge technology on Innovation. This month's programs will show you current advances, new discoveries and tell the history of technology. What's more, NGC takes you to the brains and personalities behind each technological breakthrough.
"Hi-Tech War," the first show of the series, will examine military technology to show you just how sophisticated combat has become. The episode lets you see the wows and woes on the battlefield. "Building to Extremes" will ask how buildings such as the World Trade Center towers could be brought down. Hear what architects and engineers around the world have to say about projecting the designing of future skyscrapers.
"Spy Catchers" will show you how digital technology can make you into an amateur spy. But watch your back. Someone else may have the same idea. Tony Mendez, the CIA's ex-official Master of Disguise, will tell us just how much privacy we really have. The series also takes you to the "Human Body Shop," where engineering and medicine meet to develop everything from sophisticated prosthetic limbs to artificial vision systems. Watch "Miracle Cell" to see how 16-year-old Dimitri Bonnville grew new cells in his heart. Hear what stem-cell patients have to say after receiving these treatments.
Fly with the crew to view "Crash Site Secrets." Find out how plane crashes happen and learn about "tombstone technology." Are engineers making your flights safer? And, finally, see how scientists can reveal your deepest secrets. "Brain Fingerprinting" will tell more about you than you want to know. Don't miss it or we'll know.
